Writing About Writing

Back in the dark ages of 2013, as I launched this avocation of self-publishing, I foisted a blog (remember those?) called Headfirst Into the Deep End on the world. I devoted it to a variety of topics related to writing and whatever other useless stuff caught my attention. (I suppose it would be a reach to call it "content" here in the more enlightened days of 2026, but whatever works.)

Even though I long ago abandoned my blog, I salvaged some of those dated old posts and repurposed them elsewhere -- and reading them now, they retain a degree of utility despite the passage of time. While it's been a minute since I've written anything new about writing, I'll use this space to share my now-ancient takes with you, dear reader, and I may even be inclined to add some fresh material as well.
